67Moon Landings Response to Question: Did man ever land on the moon? and why haven't we been back?
The short answer is, yes we did, and we already have been back - numerous times. The long answer is way too long to describe in one article - you could fill a stack of books on the topic.
But the general ideas of conspiracy theories are as follows:
1) Come up with initial theory why something did or did not happen.
2) Wait for hard, scientific proof that you are in fact, wrong.
3) Come up with another theory, or rewrite your initial theory, this time with your own "proof".
4) Again, wait for scientific proof that you are wrong.
This course repeats over time, until there is so much "fake" proof that people who want to believe that the moon landing did not happen really do start believing it.
So, if you have any idea's of why the manned moon landing did not happen, then please present them, or better yet - use google to find out why you are incorrect.
Here are some logical reasons stating why the moon landing did in fact happen:
1) There was a space race between Russia and the US. Both were monitoring the moon and watching each other's moves. If in fact the US did not put Neil Armstrong on the moon, the Soviets would have been the very first to call the entire mission a hoax. But the reality is that they knew very well it happened through their own investigations and monitoring.
2) An elaborate plot to trick 6 billion people is a very big task, for even the best Hollywood producers. 40 years later, we would have had so many people talking out about it, with REAL evidence that it did not happen.
Here is a brief list of landings.
Unmanned US Landings:
Ranger 7, Ranger 8, Ranger 9 - 1964-1965.
Surveyor 5, Surveyor 6, Surveyor 7 - 1967-1968
Unmanned Soviet Landings:
Luna-2, Luna-3 - 1959
Luna-9, Luna-13 - 1966
Manned US Landings:
Apollo 11 - 1969.
Apollo 12 - 1969
Apollo 14 - 1971
Apollo 15 - 1971 (3 days stay, with 17miles travelled in rover)
Apollo 16 - 1972
Apollo 17 - 1972
Why hasn't a man put his foot on the moon in the last 30/40 years? It's dangerous, expensive and not necessary right now. Samples and all data gathering can be done without humans landing on the moon. However, the Russian space agencies are planning a lunar base/camp by 2027.

I agree with what you say 100%, it would of been a hell of alot harder to fake the moon landings than it would to actually go there...... Never underestimate the ingenuity of man.
No patience with Never Address Serious Allegations (NASA) apologists! Unthinking sheep follow! Follow on. Too bad about recorded over/misplaced tapes. Would have been exposed to world as fabrications they are/were! Peace.
Well fake or real, I do see your point. The fact that it did excite people about the space program was a major benefit. I ofcourse never studying it, have no room to believe or dissbelieve. I will say you made valid points. Thank you.

During the late 1960s I worked for the Standard Telephone and Cables Company at Honeysuckle Creek in NSW Australia and I was on site when many of the ventures into space occurred...I know that what happened was real!...cheers
